Dan in Real Life

I believe Dan only wants what is truly best for his kids. He loves them, and doesn't want them to make the same mistakes he did. As far as falling in love so fast, Dan is desperate to make others around him happy. That includes his dead wife, she would have wanted him to be happy...and it lingers in his mind. Dan will forever have a doubt in love, because his wife is gone- the love of his life! Unfortunately this reflects on his kids... though he would prefer to be the good guy, Dan can't let go of his past. He's only trying to protect his children from any pain. What happens if he falls in love and this woman becomes their mom? And then she disappears? Well, they're back to square one. He wants so badly to believe in another life with someone else...and in the beginning of the movie, has yet to see it.

To fall in love? No one is too young for that...its natural. These things happen! What I believed to be love in second grade is definitely not the same definition as now. Always dreaming of "a prince sweeping me off my feet" turned quite quickly into " a guy with a sense of humor"..but the key point that I'm trying to make is, that love changes...so does your perception of love. Age cannot play a role in the rooted emotions love makes you feel. It's all about reality and what you perceive at the time to be true love. The important thing is, to let children make their mistakes, even if that means heartbreak. Because they will learn over time, that you, as a parent, are there for guidance- not to restrict them. Forbidden love is the worst kind of love, believe me I know how that goes. To tell your child "NO YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT LOVE IS."... thats wrong. Because they do know, just maybe not in the way you see it.

Religion

Imagine what its like, to be foreced out for your home.
God has punished us like children, thrown out of a comfortable place...

This Looks Like Anarchy

        

           My whole life I've been striving for more, knowing that a piece of me was missing. Heavy concrete, like that of a prison cell, blinded my foresight. What was on the other side; I knew nothing of it. Placing my hand on the wall, still sticky with fresh paint, I felt vibrations of tools, and heard people shouting on the other side.

A woman picked up a hammer, started to hit the wall. Letting loud grunts loose with each sloppy swing, she broke into a layer of old graffitti. I watched it fall to the ground. I smiled and put my hand on her shoulder, giving her time to rest.

She smiled, teeth glistening under sweaty, dust covered lips.

Movie Time

    When it comes to movies, I adore some sarcasm, action, horror, fantasy, and little bit of irony. Quentin Terantino is one of my favorite directors. Kill Bill 1 and 2 have to be my favorite movies! As far as what I try to stay away from, those ABC Family Channel movies tend to annoy me. I hate Lifetime Network Movies too...they all seem so fake, and redundant. I like new ideas! One place I can always count on is the SyFy Channel-though, most movies are poorly budgeted, and others are well, down right LAME. I still enjoy the grasp most shows have on Science-fiction and Fantasy. I also hate the most recent dance movies. Footloose was a fantastic movie!...in the 80s. Keven Bacon is one of my favorite acters, and his role was absolutley ruined with the 2012 release of Footloose. When I'm watching a movie or documentary, I need a drink and a snack. I like  the stereo up, and the lights down low! It's always great to have either a friend ( like the twin ) or my family with me when I watch a movie.

    If I could put my life story into a movie, I would probably play that weird girl from the Breakfast Club...not to say i couldn't be a super-hero or an alien! I figure that was a realistic answer.

It looks like I enjoy movies that remind me of the past... and ones that can take me on an adventure, according to the survey. I also enjoy informational seeking movies, and movines with artistic flare!
